Surf Fishing Report:
It was a dismal day. It rained all day but the Sea Mullet and Pompano remained good on the Island with some Trout reported in Buxton. Sea mullet and Spot on this side of the bridge.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching some Trout.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Bluefish, Trout, Puppy Drum and Flounder.
Nags Head: Bluefish, Trout, Black Drum, Puppy Drum and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Bluefish.
Outer Banks: Spot, Puppy Drum and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Not easy for the the Nearshore boats on days with the weather we are having but they caught Bluefish and good numbers of Spanish. Inshore decked Sheepshead, Blues and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the weather the tuna fishing is on fire. The fleet is catching their limits and returning to the dock by lunch time.

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 68 degrees. Rain, light winds now, later windy, small swells.
