Surf Fishing Report:

Southern Shores was a good place to be Thursday morning. Within 2 hours, Terry Longest from Mechanicsville, VA and fishing buddy had caught 8 Red Drum 30 in and longer and a whopper Bluefish. All fish were released.  Sea Mullet, Spot and Trout were scattered on the beaches yesterday. Fishing should be good this holiday. The water is rough this morning. It should be good Puppy Drum fishing. Just find a good slough.

We have NW winds at 15 and the water temp is 66 degrees.
