Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing is almost at a standstill. There are so many neat places to fish on the Outer Banks. There are plenty of public docks on the sound side. Dylan Lewis decided take some night crawlers to Whalehead Club on the Currituck Sound and caught a 2 # Catfish.

We have S wind this morning at 12 and the water remains a cool 54 degrees. Water is calm with very small swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Small Trout and small Croaker.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Sea Mullet. Water temp 56 degrees.

Nags Head: Small Sea Mullet.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and small Croaker.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and skate. Water is grassy. Water temp 58 degrees.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Wreck fishing was good yesterday. The fleet brought in plenty of Sea Bass and Tautog. The nearshore boats caught Bluefish, Bonito and Spanish. Inshore boats also caught Blues.


Offshore Boats Report:
Charters brought in limits of Yellowfin, limits of Dolphin, 150# Mako and citation Big-eyes. A430# Blue Marlin was brought back to the Oregon Inlet Docks.
