Surf Fishing Report:
Though the surf fishing has been slow, we have had a beautiful week on the Outer Banks. It is to continue through the weekend. Anglers have caught a few bottom fish.
We have a new regulation for Sheepshead beginning June 1st. 10 in fork length minimum size, 10/ day.
We have SE winds at 4 and the water temp is 57 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and gray Trout.
Nags Head: Nice Sea Mullet.
Jennette’s: Sea mullet and Skates.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
It was an awesome day. Nearshore boats caught loads of citation Cobia, Bluefish, Spanish, Triggers and Amberjack. The inshore boaters also filled their fish boxes with Cobia, some Specks and Sharks.
Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet had another incredible Big-eye Tuna day. Citation Tuna weighing up to 189 lbs. Plenty of Yellowfin, Gaffers and some Wahoo.
