Surf Fishing Report:
Bluefish everywhere! The last 2 days have seen great Bluefish action on our northern beaches. They were biting on bottom rigs, metal and Bluefish rigs. The guys fishing from the Oregon Bridge were using green and white swimming gulp on a jig. Pan size Bluefish are a delicious table fare. (Pictures).
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some 4 in croaker, no keeper Flounder and small Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues and Mullet.
Nags Head: First cast a 28 in Puppy Drum, Blues and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spot.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, Blues and Toads
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No Report.
Offshore Boats Report:
Bluewater charters had big catches of Yellowfin, Wahoo with one weighing in at 50 lbs. Plenty of Dolphin, some with citations.
