Surf Fishing Report:

Anglers are beaching Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Toads and Skate.

There was a good Drum bite at the point last night. You still have to walk the long walk. I received pictures from Joseph Sutton with no info. I am guessing the Drum were caught at the point.

We have NE winds at 13 and the water temp is 53 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
Fishing is slow from the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway. There was one keeper Flounder reported.

Anglers fishing the Oregon Inlet Bridge are catching Blues.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Good run of Bluefish and Trout. Some Trout weighing up to 3 lbs

Nags Head: Blues

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and Blues

Outer Banks:  Sea Mullet, Shad, Toads and Bluefish.
 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats are having great catches of Bluefish.

The Headboat caught Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Pigfish on Wednesday.


Offshore Boats Report:
Oregon Inlet fleet had good Gaffer Dolphin catches, limits of Yellowfin and a Sailfish release. Pirates Cove added a hundred lb Mako to the report and also had a White Marlin release.
