Surf Fishing Report:

The weather is hot and I am not complaining. Beach fishing is slow. There are scattered Sea Mullet and small Bluefish. Water is clearing this morning. Good Bluefish and Spanish Water.

We have calm NE winds and the water temps is 67 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Croaker, Spot and Throwback Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Few Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Nags Head: 2 small Cobia and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Spots, Bluefish and Spanish.

Outer Banks: Bluefish.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
In shore boats are bringing in Cobia again. Some boats caught Spanish and Blacktip Sharks. The nearshore captains caught King Mackerel, Albacore, Amberjack, Bluefish and plenty of Spanish.

Anglers are catching Sheepshead from the Oregon Inlet Bridge catwalk.


Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore filled their boxes with good numbers of Yellowfin, Dolphin and Gaffers. Three Blue Marlin and 2 white were released.
