Surf Fishing Report:
Spot and Sea Mullet were caught north of Oregon Inlet. Steve Miller caught a nice size Puppy Drum from the surf yesterday. You never know when one will show. (Picture).
The wind is SW at 14 and the water temp is 70 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout.
Boaters are catching Croakers and Spot in Roanoke Sound.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Blues, Spot and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: Blues and Flounder.
Jennette’s: Spot.
Outer Banks: Spot and Sea Mullet.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore fleet had a good day catching plenty of Blues, Spanish, large Amberjack and Albacore. The inlet boat caught Sharks and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet had good catches of Yellowfin, limits of Dolphin and Wahoo. There were also a few Blue Marlin releases.
