Surf Fishing Report:

There were a few bottom fish caught yesterday. My daughter caught puffers at Coquina. She saw no other fish caught. We have a picture of TW’s Wheelers grandson with a nice size Sea Mullet.

 It is another windy day. We had rain early and there are a few showers in the making.

The wind is W at 19 and the water temp has dropped quickly to 58 degrees. The water is calm with small swells.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout, some keepers and Black Drum.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: A few Mullet.

Nags Head: Slow

Jennette’s: Few Spot and Sea Mullet.

Outer Banks: Mullet and Spot.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
A good day for Red Drum anglers fishing inshore. They had good catches of both Red Drum and Puppy Drum. Nearshore had their regular good Spanish and Bluefish catches.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was another windy day but the Bluewater fleet made it out and came home with good catches of Yellowfin, some Dolphin and a few Wahoo. There was a 161 lb citation Big-eye caught.
