Surf Fishing Report:
There were Blues, Sea Mullet and Spot caught yesterday. There should be more of the same today. The water is clear and calm. I see the paddle boarders are out this morning.
The wind is SW at 5 and the water temp is 75 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croaker, small Flounder and a few Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Mullet early.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Spot.
Outer Banks: Spot and Mullet early morning. Caught and released a 32 in
Cobia yesterday.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats came to shore with a mix bag of Spanish, Amberjack, a Cobia, Red Drum and Shark. The inshore boats reported Flounder, Amberjack and Croaker.
Offshore Boats Report:
The fleet caught some big fish yesterday. Yellowfin Tuna in the 30-45 lb range, Big-eyes weighing between 129-185 lbs. and a 45 lb Wahoo. There was a good Dolphin bite and White Marlin releases.
