Surf Fishing Report:

It is another rainy day. I do not have any news from Wednesday but fishing conditions are good today for surf fishing. There should be Sea Mullet and Blues.

The wind is NE at 11 and the water temp is 64 degrees reported by the U. S. Army corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported no fishermen this morning.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Mullet and Bluefish. Water temp is 66 degrees.

Nags Head: Blues.

Jennette’s: Spanish, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and a 31 in Cobia. Water temp is 71 degrees.

Outer Banks: Blues, Spanish and early morning Sea Mullet. Water temp is 70 degrees.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats are bringing in Bluefish and Spanish. The inshore boats are catching Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

I do not have Cobia news from yesterday. I have plenty of pictures this morning. Most of the Cobia were caught on the 30th and 31st.

 
Offshore Boats Report:
Despite the weather, there are a lot of fish cleaning going on. Plenty of Mahi-Mahi, Big-eye Tuna and good catches of Yellowfin.
