Surf Fishing Report:
The rainy weather should end today. It really has not slowed the fishing for the piers, boats or surf anglers. Bluefish and Sea Mullet have been caught on our beaches.
Wind is NE at 14 and the water temps is 66 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Spot. Nice Spanish caught Thursday.
Nags Head: Spot. Also caught Spanish yesterday.
Jennette’s: Spanish and Blues. Caught 2 undersize Cobia yesterday
Outer Banks: Nice size Sea Mullet. Big run of Spanish and Blues yesterday.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boat brought in Bluefish, Amberjack, Spanish and Cobia. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Trout, Sea Mullet, Blues and Flounder. Sheepshead and Black Drum caught around the OI Bridge.
Offshore Boats Report:
The bluewater fleet have not been hindered by the weather. There were good catches of Tuna, Dolphin and Gaffers. There were also Blue Marlin and White Marlin releases.
