Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing has been unusually slow. I was glad to hear from Grover Sheldon with some Drum news from ramp 4. He released a 28 in and 31 in. There were Blues reported north of ramp 4 up near Coquina beach.
The wind is SW at 15. Small swells. The water temp is 66 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Slow, Skates & Rays.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Spot Croaker and Puffers.
Outer Banks: Skates, Sea Mullet and Spot. Good run of Spanish and Blues yesterday.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The Nearshore boats caught a variety of fish Monday. Spanish were more than plentiful, Triggers, Albacore and Amberjack. The inshore captains had a good Drum day. Also, the inlet anglers caught Flounder, Bass, Specks, Gray Trout and Sea Mullet.
Offshore Boats Report:
It was a good Dolphin day. Most of the boats limited out with Yellowfin. Citation Bigeyes weighing up to 138 lbs and a citation Wahoo.
