Surf Fishing Report:
It was a noisy night on this sand bar. There were no pier fireworks but it seems every house had plenty. I thought it was illegal. I don't get it. Anyway everyone on my street had a great time and I hope it was a fun 4th for all.
Hatteras Island reported Pompano and Sea Mullet. We had Spot, small Drum and Sea Mullet.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching a few keeper Trout and Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Small Drum, Sea Mullet and Spanish.
Nags Head: Drum, Blues and Spanish.
Jennette’s: Blues and Sea Mullet.
Outer Banks: Few Spot and Mullet.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Inshore Trout fishing continues to be over the top and plenty Drum. Nearshore reeled in Spanish, Ribbonfish, King Mackerel and Albacore.

Offshore Boats Report:
The Shark are still out there to bug the offshore anglers but they still arrived home with full coolers. The fleet decked some Yellowfin, Blackfin, some Mahi and good numbers of Tilefish. Blue and White Marlin releases.

The winds are NE at 4 and the water temp is 79 degrees. Partly sunny, no wind, calm Ocean.
