Surf Fishing Report:

Colin Kelly swam out pass the Research Pier located in Duck and speared a 75 lb, 5 ft 6 in Cobia. WOW! What a triumph. Great picture.

We have a few scattered bottom fish.

The winds are SE at 6 and the water temp is 75 degrees reported  from the U. S. Army corps of Engineers Research Pier in Duck

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching a few Croaker and Pinfish. No wind, no current, water completely still. Fishing is slow.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Blues and Sea Mullet. Water temp is 64 degrees.

Nags Head: Spot.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Spot and 1 Flounder. Water temp is 64 degrees.

Outer Banks: Mullet, Spot and Croaker.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats are killing the Ribbonfish the last several days. There are some Bluefish and Amberjacks. The inlet boats are catching bottom fish.  


Offshore Boats Report:
The Offshore fleet caught a good amount of Dolphin. There were Big-eye, Wahoo and Yellowfin as well. There was a Blue Marlin and a White Marlin released.
