Surf Fishing Report:

There should be Mullet and Spot in the surf today. There is some grass in the water in some places.  Bob Murray said MP 3.5 was on fire with Blues and Spanish on Friday. This is after he told me how much he enjoyed shopping the Kitty Hawk store and how helpful and friendly the staff are.

We have NE winds at 9 and the water temp is 77 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported few Trout and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Spot and Mullet. Big Sea Mullet yesterday.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Blues, Spot, Sea Mullet, Croakers and Sand Perch.

Outer Banks: Mullet and Spot.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Loads of Amberjack were caught nearshore plus Croakers and Mullet. Inshore boats caught Sheepshead. An inlet boat caught a Cobia. Miss Oregon Inlet had another good day catching Puffers, Sea Bass, Bluefish, Spot, Croaker, Mullet, and Flounder.


Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet returned to the docks with some Yellowfin, Wahoo, King Mackerels and a good number of Dolphin. They had a White Marlin release, a Sailfish release and multiple Blue Marlin releases.
