Surf Fishing Report:
Surf fishing is overall slow Sunday. A few Spot, Sea Mullet and Bluefish scattered. The water is clear this morning. The conditions are good for Bluefish and Spanish.
We have calm SE winds and the water temp is 79 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported one keeper Trout and 1 keeper Flounder. Lots of menhaden in the water.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish, Bluefish and Sea Mullet.
Nags Head: No report.
Jennette’s: Bluefish and Spanish. A 42 in Cobia was caught early morning.
Outer Banks: A good run of Bluefish this morning.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats are bringing in a few Dolphin and Amberjack. The open boats are catching Flounder, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout, Flounder, Croaker and Sheepshead.
Offshore Boats Report:
Fish was scattered for the offshore fleet. There were catches of Yellowfin and Gaffers. Also Blue Marlin and White Marlin releases.
