Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing conditions were perfect for Bluefish and Spanish yesterday. Will Kimble caught a good amount of Blues and a 20 in Spanish fishing Duck Beach. Sea Mullet and Blues were scattered on all our beaches. The wind has switched to WSW and the water is flat and clear this morning.

The winds are WSW at 10 and the water temp is 77 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a good Trout day yesterday. This morning, a few Trout, one keeper, a keeper Flounder and Croakers.

Bonner Bridge catwalk anglers are catching Sheepshead.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Spanish, Spot, Sea Mullet, lost 2 Cobia this morning. Caught a 47 in and 26 1/2 in Cobia last night.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Spot, Blues and 1 Spanish.

Jennette’s: Blues, Croaker and Spanish.

Outer Banks: A good run of Spanish at first light. Nice size Sea Mullet. A 27 ¼ in throw back Puppy Drum. “That hurts.”

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats are bringing in Blues, Spanish, Amberjack and Dolphin. The inshore boats are also catching some Amberjacks, plus Blues, Spackle Trout, Gray Trout and Spanish.   


Offshore Boats Report:

Offshore Captains caught plenty of Dolphin, some catching their limits. Yellowfin, Blackfin, Wahoo and King Mackerel, and a good amount of Amberjack also filled their boxes. A Blue Marlin and 2 Whites were released.
