Surf Fishing Report:

Wednesday was a slow day with only a few small Spot and Sea mullet on the north beaches. And a Shark ever so often. The cold front came through and the wind has shifted. A nice day on the Outer Banks with cooler temperatures. There should be some Spanish and Bluefish caught from the surf.

We have NE winds at 15 and the water temp is 70 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Spanish & Mullet.

Nags Head: Pinfish, Spot and Blues

Jennette’s: Bluefish and Croaker.

Outer Banks: Spot, Croaker, and Sea Mullet.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats had a good day catching their limits of Bluefish and Amberjacks. Ribbonfish, Spot, Croaker, and Red Drum included. A variety of fish were caught inshore. The open boats caught Croakers, Sea Mullet, Flounder, Tautogs, Sheepshead, Flounder and Drum.

Offshore Boats Report:
The storm offshore kept the boats tied to the docks yesterday.
