Surf Fishing Report:

Surf anglers are catching a few bottom fish. There are some decent swells this morning. The surfers are out.

We have SE wind at 2 and the water temp is 77 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Trout and bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Sea Mullet. Working to get a very big Cobia on deck as I speak. 8:30 AM

Nags Head: Flounder and the Spanish are everywhere, just not biting yet.

Jennette’s: No report.

Outer Banks: Mullet, Spanish and Flounder.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats along the beach reported plenty of Bluefish, keeper Flounder, Sea Mullet and Croaker. Inshore reported the same plus Shark added to the mix. An inlet boat caught Striped Bass.

 

Offshore Boats Report:
It was a good day for the offshore fleet. Plenty of citations were caught. Amberjack, Wahoo, Big-eye Tuna, some Bonita and the Dolphin were plentiful. There were 3 Sailfish, 8 White Marlin and a Blue Marlin released.
