Surf Fishing Report:
We had heavy downpours last night and early morning. Bad lightning storm.
Surf fishing continues to be slow. A few Sea mullet were beached. The water has cleared this morning. There should be some Bluefish caught.
The wind is NE at 6 and the water temp is 69 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Anglers fishing the Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway are catching a few keeper Trout, Flounder and Croaker.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Sea Mullet and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Small Flounder.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet and small Spot.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet. Water Temp is 64 degrees.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats continue having spectacular catches of Bluefish and Spanish. Nearshore anglers caught Sharks, Drum and Cobia. A Wreck fishing trip had good numbers of Triggers and Sea bass. The Headboat caught Croaker, Sea bass, Spot, Sea Mullet and Flounder.
Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewater fleet brought plenty of Dolphin, some Yellowfin back to the docks. They also caught citation Big-eyes weighing up to 210 lbs. There was a White Marlin release.
