Surf Fishing Report:
I am wishing everyone has a fun July 4th and stay safe.
Lots bottom fish caught on Friday. Fishing will be slow today. More bottom fish. The water is clear and the temp is going to drop quickly today.
The wind is W at 20 and the water temp is 67 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Mullet.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Triggers, Spot and Sea Mullet
Outer Banks: Mullet, Spot and a couple of small Flounder.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats had good catches of Bluefish, Amberjack, Spadefish and good size Ribbonfish. Inshore had nice Amberjack, Blues, Shark and Cobia on a fly rod. Inlet fishing is producing Spot, Flounder, Mullet, Bass and Croakers.
Offshore Boats Report:
The storms the night before made it a little tough for the Captains. They had a fair day catching some Yellowfin, Dolphin, some Gaffers and a 140 lb Big-eye.
