Surf Fishing Report:
A few Spot and Bluefish. Surf fishing is slow. The weather is not helping.
The wind is W at 4 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Water is calm clear.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported throw back Trout, small Flounder and a small Spot ever so often.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: 34 in Cobia, Bluefish, small Flounder and Spot.
Nags Head: Slow.
Jennette’s: Spot.
Outer Banks: Mullet and Spot.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats caught Blues and the nearshore fishers caught Amberjack and Cobia.
Offshore Boats Report:
Early morning was nasty on the 4th. One boat sailed and managed to return with 5 nice Yellowfins.
