Surf Fishing Report:
We have another nice balmy morning on the Outer Banks with same really hot temperatures and rain expected later.
Pompano and Sea Mullet on the Hatteras beaches and Sea Mullet and some Bluefish this side of the bridge. The Mullet bite has been the best with more citations then I remember from before. Shrimp and Sand fleas is the bait.

The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching Trout this morning.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Mullet.
Nags Head: Spot, Flounder, Bluefish.
Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spot, Croaker, Sand Perch and Pigs
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet and Blues using gochas.

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats trolling for Spanish and Bluefish continue having good luck outside the inlet and a short distance off shore along the beach. Ribbonfish and Albacore was also caught. Trout fishing was good in the sound.

Offshore Boats Report:
The Yellowfin catches has slowed a bit but the sizable Mahi catches have made up for it. The fleet caught King Mackerel, plenty Tilefish, some Seabass and Amberjacks. There was a Sailfish release as well.

The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 73 degrees. Partly sunny, light winds, clean swells.
