Fishing was not what I expected yesterday. The water and the high wind increased throughout the day. There were some small drum. Mike Scott caught a keeper. I have heard from the inlet this morning. The bite is good. One Drum over the slot has been caught. The conditions are some better today.
Jennette’s Pier has reported Bluefish, Sea Mullet and the regular Dogfish that dog us from the surf and piers this time of the year.
Offshore fleet stayed home yesterday because of high winds.
The wind is NE at 15 and the water temp is 51 degrees.
