Surf Fishing Report:
The surf fishermen are out early this morning. A few bottom fish caught north of the inlet on Monday. The surfers are catching some waves today.
The winds are SW at 11 and the water temp is 75 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catch and release Stripers and small Trout
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spot and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Spot and Bluefish
Jennette’s: Pigfish and Bluefish.
Outer Banks: A few bottom fish.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats had good catches of Bluefish, Spanish, Flounder, Amberjacks and Sea Mullet. The Inshore boats decked plenty of Bluefish and Flounder. The headboat caught their usual Gray Trout, Bluefish, Croaker, Sea Bass, Sea Mullet and Flounder.
Offshore Boats Report:
Dolphin are plentiful with several boats catching their limits. The fleet is also finding the Yellowfin again with Blackfin, Wahoo and Bonita as well. There were 20 White Marlin and 3 Sailfish releases.
