Surf Fishing Report:

A few nice Spot, Sea Mullet and Pompano beached yesterday. Dan Cohen caught a keeper Drum from the Nags Head surf. That was good news.

We have SW winds at 6 and the water temp is 79 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croaker and Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Blues and Spot.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet, Spot and Blues.

Jennette’s: Spot, Sea Mullet and Pigfish.

Outer Banks: Pompano and Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats returned to the docks with King Mackerel, Ribbonfish, a few Dolphin and a great amount of Spanish. They also caught some Look Down fish which is rare in our waters.  I had to Google the fish. I had never heard of Look Down fish. Inshore boats are bringing in Spanish, Ribbonfish, Sea Bass and a few Dolphin. The Inlet boats are catching Bluefish, Croaker, Spot, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout and Puffers.


Offshore Boats Report:
Dolphin are still the fish of the day for the fleet. Abundant of Dolphin catches every day. They also Caught Blackfin and Amberjacks. There were Blue Marlin, White Marlin and Sailfish releases.
