Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing continues to be slow overall. A few Sea Mullet, Spot and Pompano.

We have W wind at 7 and the water temp is 76 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Spanish, a keeper flounder and Pigfish.

Nags Head: A Bluefish and few Spot.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet, Sand Perch, Pigfish and Spot.

Outer Banks: Bottom fish.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers had great catches of Spanish and some moonfish. The wreck fishing boats caught a good variety of Albacore, Amberjack, Barracuda and Moonfish. The inshore caught Albacore, Moonfish and Shark. Many Red Drum were caught and released. The Inlet boats are catching Bluefish, Spot, Sea Mullet and Flounder.


Offshore Boats Report:
The Bluewwater fleet caught loads of Dolphin, nice catches of Yellowfin. There were Billfish releases.
