Surf Fishing Report:
Sea Mullet, Spot and Croaker scattered along our beaches. There is grass in the water.
The wind is S at 4 and the water temp is 72 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported bottom fish.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Gray Trout, Gag Grouper and Sand Perch.
Nags Head: Blues, Spanish and Spot.
Jennette’s: Bluefish, Sea Bass and Pigfish.
Outer Banks: Bottom fish.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore fleet returned to the docks with loads of Spanish, Albacore, King Mackerel, Ribbonfish and Moon Fish. The wreck fishing trip had a boatload of Triggers and Sea Bass. The inlet boats caught Sea Mullet, Spot, Croaker and Pompano.
Offshore Boats Report:
The Dolphin catches have been outstanding. There was a 45 lb citation Wahoo caught.
Bill fishing was fair. There were Blue Marlin, White and Sailfish releases.
