Surf Fishing Report:
It is a beautiful beach day on the Outer Banks. Fishing was slow the weekend. There were scattered Bluefish and Sea Mullet and an over the slot Drum caught by Daniel Sconce. The conditions are perfect for Spanish and Bluefish this morning and the piers are catching. Both fish are best at sunrise and sunset. They like warm and clear water. The fishermen on the end of the piers are using gotcha plugs.
We have calm NW winds and the water temp is 79 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croakers.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Spanish and Bluefish.
Nags Head: Spanish and Bluefish
Jennette’s: Good early morning Spanish bite and Blues.
Outer Banks: Spanish, Pompano and a 16 in Flounder.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Only one nearshore boat fished yesterday. They caught Spanish and Bluefish.
Offshore Boats Report:
One off shore boat braved the rough weather and still managed to catch their limits of Dolphin.
