Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishermen are catching small Pompano and Sea Mullet from the surf.  And there is always the chance you are going to catch the big one. Kenny Dill is honeymooning from Maryland and landed an over the slot Drum. He was fishing MP 21. I get very little news from the Oregon Inlet Bridge Catwalk though I know fish are caught every day. Cary Zhang caught nice size Sheepshead yesterday.

The wind is NE at 10 and the water temp remains at 79 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout and Croakers.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Avalon Pier reported having red tide this morning. Nothing has been caught.

Nags Head: Spanish and Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Pinfish, Blues and Spanish.

Outer Banks: Blues, Spanish and Pinfish.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats had a good Bluefish and Spanish bite. Also caught some Albacore and Shark. Inshore caught Spanish and Blues as well and a tremendous amount of Ribbonfish.  The Inlet boaters are catching Gray Trout, small Flounder, Croakers, Sea Mullet and Bluefish.

Offshore Boats Report:
Yellowfin Tuna are making a better showing. Wahoo were also caught yesterday with a 65 lb and 47 lb citation. The fleet is still catching their limits of Dolphin. Sport fishing has picked up. There were 18 White, 7 Blue Marlin and 4 Sailfish released.
