Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing improved a little yesterday. Bottom fish and Bluefish were reported.

Will Kimble was Kayak fishing from the Duck beaches and caught a good mess of Bluefish. He’s ready to fire up the smoker. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Then there is Jeff Walston catching his keeper Flounder.

The wind is NE at 8, increasing this afternoon. The water temp is 77 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported few Trout and bottom fish.

Pier Fishing Report:

Pier fishing is slow this morning. Rain showers. Lots of big grass.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Near shore boats continue catching an amazing amount of Ribbonfish. Also some Amberjack, Spanish and Albacore.  The inshore boats Tautog, Sea Mullet, some Drum and also good catches of Ribbonfish. The Headboat caught Sea Bass, Puffers, Mullet and keeper Flounder.

Offshore Boats Report:
Another good Dolphin day with boats catching their limits. Nice Yellowfin, Blackfin and a few Wahoo. Blue and White Marlin releases.
