Surf Fishing Report:

I had house shaking thunder storms in KDH last night. It will be overcast most of the day. The water is clear and calm this morning. The ocean is full of bait. Corn cobs and finger mullet everywhere. I see a few people surf fishing.  It was slow yesterday with some Bluefish, Sea Mullet and Pompano caught.

We have NW winds at 11 and the water temp is 77 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: No report.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: A couple of early morning Spanish.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The fleet fishing nearshore caught Albacore and had good catches of Blues and Spanish. Inshore also caught Spanish and Albacore despite the rain. The inlet anglers are catching Blues, Flounder, Sea Mullet and Croakers.


Offshore Boats Report:
Bluewater fleet returned to the docks with good catches of Yellowfin, some Blackfin, few Wahoo and limits of Dolphin. There were multiple Billfish releases.
