Surf Fishing Report:

Overall it is a nice day on the Outer Banks with a few scattered showers predicted for later. There have been a few Pompano and Sea Mullet scattered on the northern beaches.

We have S wind at 6 and the water temp is 79 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croaker, Trout and Rockfish this morning.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Few Blues and Spanish.

Nags Head: Sea Mullet Spanish and blues,

Jennette’s: A couple of early morning Spanish.

Outer Banks: Sea Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The boats caught Blues, Albacore and a tremendous amount of Spanish. A citation Red Drum was also caught. The Headboat decked Sea Mullet, Flounder, Bluefish, Gray Trout and Sea Bass.


Offshore Boats Report:
The offshore fleet continues releasing a large number of billfish including 27 White Marlin, 1 Blue and 11 Sailfish. The Yellowfin action was great with some of the boats catching their limits. Dolphin also are caught in abundance with Bonita added.
