Surf Fishing Report:

Fishing is slow. A few bottom fish are biting. Cloudy with a possibility of a shower in mid afternoon.

The wind is W and calm. The water temp is 75 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported few Trout and Croakers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Bluefish and Spanish.

Nags Head: Few Blues

Jennette’s: Spanish, Bluefish and a 40 in Cobia.

Outer Banks: Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The fleet is catching Sea Bass, Triggers and Albacore plus Bluefish and Spanish.


Offshore Boats Report:
The Tuna fishing is good once again with a few of the boats catching their limits of Yellowfin. There was an abundance of Dolphin caught with Wahoo and Bonita as well. A citation 209 lb Big-eye was brought in. Plenty of Billfish releases.
