Surf Fishing Report:
A few Bluefish were caught from the surf. Fishing continues to be slow. It is going to be nice week weather wise. This morning the water is choppy and clear.
The winds are NW at 9 and the water temp is 76 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Croakers, a couple of keeper Flounder, small Trout and a nice 2 lb keeper Trout.
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: Speckle Trout, Lady Fish, Bluefish and Pompano.
Nags Head: A few Bluefish and Spot.
Jennette’s: Black Sea Bass, Bluefish, small Crevalle Jacks, small Flounder and Pompano.
Outer Banks: Sea Mullet, 1 good size Pompano, little Spot and Bluefish.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Inshore anglers reported good Cobia action, and caught good numbers of Spanish and Blues. Nearshore caught Albacore, some Ribbonfish, and plenty of Spanish and Blues.
Offshore Boats Report:
Dolphin fishing was fair, a few Blackfin, and nice catches of Yellowfin were caught Sunday. Billfish action slowed.
