Surf Fishing Report:

Spot, Pinfish and Black Drum were caught yesterday reported by Douglas Haber. He was fishing with blood worm fish bites. Simulated bait works. There are also some very small Spot, Sea Mullet and Pompano in the water.

The winds are NE at 8 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Waters choppy and still clear.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout, Flounder and Croaker.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Spot, a couple of Spanish and Bluefish.

Nags Head: Pigfish. Slow.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Spanish, Gag Grouper, Croakers and Pins and Pigs.

Outer Banks: Spot and Sea Mullet. Good run of Spanish in the afternoon.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Nearshore boats continue having days of great fishing and brought in some nice Spanish, Triggers, Blues, Albacore and a few Sea Bass. Inshore reported Albacore, Amberjacks and Spanish. The Headboat reported Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Flounder and Puffers.


Offshore Boats Report:
Offshore fleet are still reeling in plenty of Dolphin, good catches of Yellowfin, and some Blackfin. A 40 lb Wahoo as well. There were 38 White Marlin and 4 Sailfish releases.
