Surf Fishing Report:

Surf fishing was slow yesterday. A few very small bottom fish were caught.

The winds are ENE at 13 and the water temp is 77 degrees. Rough water.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported small Trout, Croaker and Stripers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Spanish and Spot. They are at this minute fighting a Cobia that has been hooked.

Nags Head: Spanish, Blues and a 22.4 # King Mackerel.

Jennette’s: Black Drum, Sand Perch, and Pins and Pigs.

Outer Banks: Spanish, Blues, Flounder, Jacks, and Mullet.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore boats are catching nice size Bluefish and a tremendous amount of Spanish and a few Albacore. Also good catches of Sea Bass and Triggers. Inshore anglers are also catching Blues and Spanish along with Drum and Lizard Fish.


Offshore Boats Report:
Fishing is good for the Offshore Fleet. There were Blackfin, Wahoo, plenty of Yellowfin Tuna and a good number of Dolphin. There was also a 133 lb Big-eye decked. There were 54 White marlin, 1 Blue marlin and 1 Sailfish releases.
