Surf Fishing Report:

A few Sea mullet and Bluefish scattered on our beaches. J D Whittington caught a nice Puppy Drum in Corova.

The winds are NE at 17 and the water temp is 77 degrees. The water is choppy. The winds will increase doing the week and the weather report is calling for rain. Rain we need. The Eastern surfing championships are held in Nags Head this week. The weather is not going to cooperate.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported some keeper Trout along with the throwbacks with one 21 in Speck caught.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: No report.

Nags Head: Slow.

Jennette’s: Spot and Pinfish.

Outer Banks: Bottom fish.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
No report.


Offshore Boats Report:
The majority of the boats stayed in yesterday due to weather. Of the boats that fished, anglers caught Dolphin. There were also billfish releases.
