Surf Fishing Report:

I have no surf fishing news. There are other places to fish on the Outer Banks. There is a wildlife Public dock across the causeway from Pirates Cove and anglers can always fish the Little Bridge on the causeway. You could catch some Trout, Croakers, Flounder; Stripers are not in season but fun catch and possibly a Drum.

The Eastern Surfing Championships are happening in Nags Head this week. As rough has the ocean, I see a few surfers in the water.

The winds are NE wind at 25 and the water temp is 75 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported a few throwback Trout, Croakers and Stripers.

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: slow, caught some Drum last night

Nags Head: Slow. Caught 2 Drum before day light.

Jennette’s: Tough fishing this morning. Release 9 Red Drum last night.

Outer Banks: Slow.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
Not many boats made it out. The ones that did were well rewarded. The nearshore boats caught Spanish and many nice size Bluefish. The inshore boat caught limits of Blue and Spanish. They also reeled in 2 citation Drum. One Drum was 44 in and the other 49 in. Miss Oregon Inlet caught Sea Bass, Sea robin, Croaker, Flounder and 3 Cobia.
