Surf Fishing Report:

The water was really rough yesterday. I was told there were fish caught on the south side of Oregon Inlet. Today with the wind switching, the water has calmed down for the time being. Clean waves, Surfers are out.

The winds are SW and the water temp is 73 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Flounder, Rockfish, Spot and some keeper Trout.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Slow.

Nags Head: Mullet, Pompano and a Spot.

Jennette’s: Sea Mullet. A 40 in Drum was caught yesterday.

Outer Banks: Little Croakers, small Spot Sea Mullet. Caught a 44 in and 47 in Drum on Tuesday.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
A few boats fished and caught Gray Trout, Croaker, Spot, Flounder, Sea Bass and Blues.

A Striper was also caught.

 

Offshore Boats Report:

Stayed at the Docks.
