Surf Fishing Report:
Some Bluefish were reported on the island yesterday and some also some on our north beaches beyond Corolla. Fishing should pick up to day. The conditions are improving. A correction on the Tiger Shark that was posted yesterday. I t was a Sand Tiger Shark and the angler knew that also. I just left off the word Sand. A couple of readers picked up on that and contacted me. I don't get away with anything.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported catching bottom fish, some small Drum.

Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon:Slow.
Nags Head: Spot and Mullet.
Jennette’s: Croaker, Sea Mullet, Bluefish and Triggers
Outer Banks: Spot, Bluefish,

Inshore Boats/nearshore Report:
Nearshore anglers caught Spanish, Moonfish and good numbers of Ribbon fish.

Offshore Boats Report:
The weather got in the way of the offshore fleet yesterday. We can expect problems for the next several days.

The winds are NW at 6 and the water temp is 64 degrees. Sunny, light winds, clean swells.
