Surf Fishing Report:

There were catch and release Drum caught at the inlet yesterday. Jim Clinton released a 32 in Drum and Sandee Salimbene released a 30 in. Erin White also caught whoppers measuring 34 & 36 in. There were scattered Sea Mullet on our beaches also. Conditions are the same today. You might want to give a try.

We have NE winds at 12 and the water temp is 79 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: A couple of Spanish.

Nags Head: Spot, Sea Mullet and a few Blues.

Jennette’s: No report.

Outer Banks: Ribbonfish and Spot. Lots of finger mullet in the water.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore boats caught a good amount of Spanish and nice catches of Taylor Blues. No news on nearshore boats.


Offshore Boats Report:
A few boats left the harbor yesterday though we still have unfavorable conditions. There were scattered Yellowfin, a 30 # Wahoo, and plenty of Dolphin, one weighing in at 46 #. There were White Marlin releases.
