Surf Fishing Report:
It is 8:30 am and I just called the piers. It is getting ready to rain or already raining on them right now. Avalon has caught some Mullet, Nags Head some Spot and Mullet, OBX some Spot.
The boats fishing the Inlet caught some Ribbonfish and Croakers yesterday.
I did not have any pictures this morning so I added one of mine. This is the much missed cat walk at the Oregon Inlet Bridge in the late 60's. And that is my daughter and my mother fishing looking very serious trying to get it done. I get many questions to answer about the new bridge and about its sight seeing and fishing pier. There is no concrete answer to the question. We do know it's running late in the making.
In a couple of days the storm will have passed and maybe there will be fish caught. Of course you always hear fish bite better before a storm. We will see.

The winds are SW at 8 and the water temp is 66 degrees. Partly sunny, light winds, small swells.
