Surf Fishing Report:

It s a great day on the OBX. The wind is light. The water is calm with small swells. I can see from all the cams there is plenty of action on the beaches this morning.

There were Sea Mullet, Blues and a couple of Drum caught north of the inlet yesterday.

The winds are ENE at 6 and the water temp is 79 degrees.

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow.

Pier Fishing Report:

The truth be told, the piers are really slow for this time of the year. I call each pier every morning.  There is a lot of groaning going on. It is not the conditions. It’s not making any sense. It will get better.

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The nearshore anglers caught an impressive amount of Blues and Spanish and a few Albacore. Inshore caught the same. The Headboat anglers were busy catching Bluefish, Croaker, Gray Trout, Sea Mullet, Sea Bass and Spot.

Offshore Boats Report:
Wow! There were 98 White Marlin releases. 3 Blue, 1 Swordfish, 1 Spearfish and a Sailfish as well. Another spectacular Dolphin day with the fleet limiting out. One very large Mahi-Mahi was caught weighing in at 43 lbs.
