Surf Fishing Report:

Carolina blue skies this morning. Beautiful day. The fish are getting bigger from the surf. There are Bluefish, Black Drum, Spot and some Sea Mullet along the beaches. A nice Drum caught in Corova.

The winds are NNW at 9 and the water temp is 67 degrees.

 

Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported slow some Trout, Stripers and Croakers.

 

Pier Fishing Report:

Avalon: Bluefish. Fishing is slow on the piers this morning.

Nags Head: Bluefish.

Jennette’s: Bluefish, Trout, Puffers and Spot.

Outer Banks: Blow Toads, Mullet and Pigfish.

 

Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
The inshore and nearshore boats are catching Albacore and a huge amount of Blues. Trout and citation Drum also caught. Inside the inlet, boaters caught Croaker, Sea Bass, Flounder and Sea Mullet.


Offshore Boats Report:
A great day for the offshore Fleet. Big catches of Black Drum, limits of Dolphin and nice Yellowfin. King Mackerel, Bonita and Wahoo were caught as well. There was also a Sailfish release.
