Water Is All Stirred up
Fishing has been interesting so far this week! Conditions have gotten better while the fishing has been a little bit challenging depending on your location!
As anticipated, the Drum have been biting with the waters all stirred up. The piers have reported some nice big Red Drum, Spot, and Pinfish. There have also been a few Black Sea Bass and Flounder reported as well. The surf fishing has seen a little bit of action with some Sea Mullet, Drum, Spot, Flounder, and Bluefish. William Meyers caught a Drum and Justin Schrinel caught a nice Bluefish.
The inshore fishing has also been pretty ideal for Drum for this time of year. There are also some Speckled Trout and Flounder around as well.
The offshore fishing has improved as many of the local boats were able to make it back out yesterday and today. Nice Billfish releases alone with Mahi and Tuna were reported.
The Ocean City White Marlin Tournament continues to heat up with boated Blue Marlin and White Marlin! We can’t wait to see what happens during the upcoming Ladies Alice Kelly Tournament and Pirate’s Cove Billfish Tournament next week.
