It was an exciting weekend here on the Outer Banks! From Tunas to Turkeys, there was were a lot of memories made!

The Tunas are still biting and a lot of anglers seized the opportunity to hook up on one! Cody stopped by the shop for some bait and tackle and was able to get a nice 62” Bluefin. Dilon Mills, Easton Hall, and Sonny Donahue had fun catching a 166lb 69incher! @fowlhookedsportfishing had an epic day claiming one as well! Alec Cole sent us her picture with a beauty! Capt. Clay with @above_c_level_adventures caught one too! @outcastfishingobx had a productive weekend tuna fishing as well!

The surf fishing reports include Sea Mullet, Grey Trout, Bluefish, and Puppy Drum. The Bonner Bridge reported some small Sheepshead and Puppy Drum. Down on the southern beaches there were some big Drum caught down at the Point along with some Sea Mullet, Bluefish, and sharks. Lee Kinsey sent us his nice Puppy Drum and Evan Danals hooked up to his first Drum today in Duck.

Yesterday was opening day of youth turkey hunting and Walker Atkinson got his very first gobbler! With an almost 10” beard and 1 1/4” spur! Congrats Walker! We still have plenty of turkey gear including decoys and calls!
