Surf Fishing Report:
There were Sea Mullet, Blues and Croakers scattered along our beaches yesterday. The ocean is calming and conditions are fair. The Nags Head Fishing Tournament began this morning. The Nags Head beaches are full of anglers.
The winds are NW at 5 and the water temp is 68 degrees.
Sound Fishing Report:
The Little Bridge on the Nags Head/Manteo causeway reported Small Trout, Croakers and Stripers
Pier Fishing Report:
Avalon: A few Trout and one Red Drum.
Nags Head: Blues, spot, Croakers and Black Drum.
Jennette’s: No report.
Outer Banks: Nice Mullet, good size Croakers and a 57 in Drum.
Inshore Boats/Nearshore Report:
A couple of boats fished and caught a few Bluefish. The Headboat sailed yesterday and caught Croakers, Sea Bass, Sea Mullet, Gray Trout and Pins and Pigs.
Offshore Boats Report:
Conditions still too bad to sail.
