Art Show Opening Featuring Lisa Kessler of Waterlily
Event Description:
Join us for a reception of the work of painter and mixed media artist, Lisa Kessler. The reception will start with a talk by the artist about her work in acrylic, oil pastels and mixed media.
Lisa Cox Kessler resides in Waterlily, North Carolina, with her husband Benjamin. Life and careers have taken her immediate family around the world and across the country, but her sense of belonging lies deeply in her six generation Outer Banks heritage. “My mother and her siblings were innovators, teachers and above all, creatives. From them, I learned to take simple, natural and found materials that were available, and create.”
